Speech and Language Therapist

If you aspire to develop young people's communication so that they can achieve their true potential....

If you want to be part of removing a child's barriers to learning by delivering specific and regular speech and language interventions

If you like the idea of working collaboratively in an energetic and forward-thinking school environment...

If you want to come to work every day knowing no two days are ever the same in the community that you work in....

If you are keen to continue to learn (every day's a school day!) and want to work alongside like-minded colleagues.....

If you are excited to contribute to our whole school curriculum and work alongside amazing teachers and a wide range of other professionals...

If you believe that our role extends beyond the classroom...

If working closely with families to extend your impact is important to you....

...then look no further!

One of our SLTs, Sarah, says that “It's hard to choose a favourite bit of my job as there are so many highlights everyday! I love being able to thread my SLT support into school trips and even a 4-day residential trip!"

Sarah says that for her, the best bits are being part of a wider team, working collaboratively to really get to know our children and plan and deliver a bespoke approach to their education, with therapy embedded into their daily activities. Then seeing the resulting impact on our young people, accessing their curriculum, achieving their goals and becoming independent and successful communicators.

We couldn't have put it better ourselves! Come and meet us- we'd love to have you as part of the team!

Permanent, full time, term time contract, plus 3 weeks with 10 weeks holiday (to be taken during school holiday time)

Annual salary: £28,070 to £30,983 (depending on experience)
