Location: Meath School & Specialist Centre, Brox Road, Ottershaw, Surrey, KT16 0LF
Contract: Permanent contract, Full time (35 hours per week), 42 weeks per year (term time plus up to 3 weeks of work during school closure periods) with 10 weeks paid holiday. Part time applications will also be considered.
Actual Annual Salary (FTE): £27,716.64 to £35,479.69 dependent on experience (this includes an unconsolidated annual allowance)
Meath School is an Ofsted rated ‘Outstanding’ specialist school that caters for pupils aged 4-11 years with speech, language, and communication difficulties, some of whom have co-existing conditions including Sensory Processing Disorder, Cerebral Palsy, Autistic Spectrum Disorders and learning difficulties.
We are looking for a dynamic, adaptable, and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our dedicated Paediatric Occupational Therapy team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work within a multi-disciplinary setting where cohesive collaboration is encouraged and celebrated. You will be school-based and with support from a Clinical Specialist Occupational Therapist, will assess for, plan, and deliver individualised intervention programmes depending on your level of experience. You will work with children individually or in small groups in specialist treatment areas and within classroom-based sessions to enable their learning and meaningful engagement in school-based tasks.
