We are delighted that you are considering joining our network of I CAN Licensees! Since 2012 I CAN has trained over 1000 professionals to deliver I CAN evidence based programmes and interventions in early years settings, primary and secondary schools across the UK.

The I CAN Licensee network helps us to reach more children and young people giving them the support they need when and where it is needed most.

    What is an I CAN Licensee?

    An I CAN Licensee is a skilled educational professional who is trained and licensed to deliver one or more of I CAN's training and accreditation programmes direct to practitioners within schools or settings. These practitioners then implement the I CAN intervention or programme in their school or setting.

    Licensees can be experienced Speech and Language Therapists (SLTs), experienced Teachers (those with equivalent QTS) or Educational Psychologists. All I CAN licensees are assessed by I CAN and then trained by one of our specialist advisors in the specific programme they are delivering.

    Who can apply

    • Speech and Language Therapists with experience training adults and of working in schools.
    • Specialist Teachers with knowledge of SLCN and of training adults
    • Educational Advisors
    • Special Educational Needs Co-ordinators (SENCOs) who have experience of training and coaching
    • Language Unit Teachers
    • Educational Psychologists
    • Specialist Early Years Practitioners who have expertise in SLCN

    How much does it cost

    When applying you need to pay a £50+VAT application fee. Every year you want to remain an I CAN tutor, you will need to pay £50+VAT annual fee.
