Safeguarding is everybody's business and at I CAN we play an active part in keeping children and adults at risk, safe. This includes ensuring we act, prevent harm and promote safety in all aspects of work, and take appropriate steps if we have a worry about a child or adult at risk.

I CAN works to the highest standards of integrity and honesty, and expects all its employees to maintain the same standards in everything they do.

Individuals working for I CAN are therefore strongly encouraged to raise any concerns that they may have about the conduct of others in the charity, or the way in which the charity is run.  Our Whistleblowing Policy sets out how we deal with concerns raised by employees.
