Senior Programme Manager - The Communication Trust

£41,516 per annum (inclusive of London Weighting allowance)
Full Time (35 hours per week) 
Fixed term to 31st March 2018 (possible extension subject to funding)
Based in EC1, London

The Communication Trust is a group of nearly 50 charities and community organisations with expertise in speech, language and communication. We work together to help people who work with children support the speech, language and communication needs (SLCN) of all children and young people.

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Programme Manager to join our small team in Central London. As well as project managing some areas of work across the Trust, you will also have operational responsibility for delivery of and reporting on a funded programme of work to targets and KPIs agreed with funder and the Programme Board.  

Working alongside another Senior Programme Manager in the team, you will monitor progress and ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget to the agreed quality.

Your responsibilities will also include: 
Ensuring that the overall budget for this programme of work is managed and balanced 
Overseeing the evaluation of the programme of work 
Contributing to the development of future plans for the Trusts’ work

You will be an experienced manager who has successfully managed multiple projects and multiple stakeholders in a complex organisation.  An understanding of the education sector and/or children’s communication development would be a distinct advantage.
