Annual Salary: £20,419 per annum

Serving children and families for almost 130 years, I CAN today consists of two special schools, Meath School (Surrey) and Dawn House School (Nottinghamshire); a social enterprise that develops and distributes a wide range of materials, training packages and interventions across the nation; the I CAN Help portfolio of information and advice for parents, carers and practitioners; and is the host for The Communication Trust, a consortium of over 50 organisations in the field of communications. I CAN’s mission is that no child should be left out or left behind because of a difficulty speaking or understanding. 

This is an exciting time to join our organisation.  Working in a high performing Social Enterprise Team, the Customer Accounts Assistant will contribute to the Business Development strategy through the delivery of high quality order processing, invoicing and general administrative support.

In this role, the successful applicant will be responsible for the administration and financial processing of I CAN’s training programmes, interventions and resources. which support children with speech, language and communication needs (SLCN). They will also be solely responsible for administering the collection of annual licence fees from our large network of Licensed Tutors and will regularly follow up with trade debtors in order to maintain good credit control.

This role is ideal for a process led, organised and numerate self starter with an excellent eye for detail. In this role you will have the opportunity to work collaboratively across I CAN to deliver the charity’s ambitions for children, young people and their families.
